Mercedes Benz Fashion Week – Brisbane Arcade Group Show

Maiocchi Brisbane

The Brisbane Arcade parade showcased designers that call the exclusive Brisbane Arcade home. Although many of the garments are out of my price range and the labels represented in this show tend to focus on a more mature woman, it was still lovely to see the classy vintage feel and sense of fun some of these labels took towards their collections.

I have always loved Maiocchi (above and below) for the label’s simple, flattering cuts, great use of quirky prints and bright colours. The adorable details and vintage style of the dresses also followed through to Pia Du Pradal.

The Hat Box showcased an amazing array of hats, perfect for a fancy day at the races. To close the show, Darb Couture delighted the crowd with their beautiful couture gowns, a model celebrating the finale with a cluster of huge helium balloons.
